Engine compartment shows air filter and other engine components. Machine work on short block was done by Performance Machine Shop. The engine has 496HP, 502 ft lbs of torque. Ran it at San Antonio Raceway, ran a 12.41second quarter mile at 116 mph easing in the throttle. Car weighs approx. 3782 lbs.

The car was painted the original montero red, paint code RR. It's a base coat clear coat dupont paint. Rally IIs, PMD center caps, 15x8 in the rear and 14x7 in the front.

Engine compartment shows air filter and other engine components. This is a picture of the motor painted Pontiac blue. K&N extreme air filter cleaner. 455 cubic inch motor, ported and polished cylinder heads, valve job by Long's Machine Shop, San Antonio, Texas.

Front view shows grill. Grills were refurbished and painted to match originals, and the ram air hood was all functioning parts from a newer GTO.

Here's a look at the interior of the '65 GTO. Got the new seat covers with the Pontiac emblem embroidered from Year One. Also have carpet kit from Year One. Car has factory A/C and purchased chrome A/C bezels from Year One. This is a four speed car with a Muncie.

Of course the port fender wells and fire wall were all painted red. In this picture, the motor is painted red and has the original 389 with a Saginaw four speed and a 3.55 10 bolt posi differential.
